1st. fist and for-most,as a huge hip-hop/rap fan I don’t think the album is dead at all. However,I do disagree with nas about the fact that hiphop/rap is dead.I think taht it just doesn’t reflect the ideas that alot of people would want it to?So for that reason they deem it as being dead.Other-than-that, the album was a masterpiece. It was the last great album of 2006 following his label mates ludacris,jay-z, and young jeezy. This album is definitely going to sell just because hiphop/rap fans want to hear what he has to say?!
