Truck Driver Ticketed in Cassidy Crash
According to The Jersey Journal, the man driving the pickup truck that smashed into rapper Cassidy’s SUV has been issued a summons for an unsafe turn. Javier Trujillo Gonzalez of Carson City, Michigan was issued the ticket at the time of the crash on Thursday, October 5th. According to Gerald Shahid, the driver of the Chevy suburban Cassidy was traveling in, Gonzalez ran a red light on Tonnelle Avenue in Jersey City and broadsided the SUV. Cassidy’s lawyer, Simon Rosen, spoke on the rappers condition saying, “He has multiple fractures of his face…he has a nasty scar from his ear to the corner of his mouth. He’s on sedation to keep him from moving, and to keep him out of pain.” While the Philadelphia rapper’s condition is considered serious, at this time he is expected to make a full recovery.
