ti.jpgT.I. landed a whopping eight BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations yesterday (October 12) when the nominees were announced at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Beating out Busta Rhymes and Yung Joc, who each landed five nominations, the Atlanta-based rapper scored nods for Video of the Year, Hip-Hop Track of the Year, Hip-Hop MVP of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Best Live Performance, Best Collaboration, Hip-Hop CD of the Year and Hustler of the Year. Other notable nominees were Chamillionaire and Lupe Fiasco, who each received four nods and are both nominated in the Rookie of the Year category. Others nominees include Kanye West, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, Common, Jay-Z and Diddy. The Awards are scheduled to take place on November 12th at Atlanta's Fox Theatre and will air on BET on November 15th. Comedian Katt Williams has been tapped as a host and Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Young Jeezy and T.I. are all expected to perform.
