I don’t know what to say maybe people are bored of g unit. I expected more form Banks with sales. I enjoyed the album though. I love The Hunger For More better though better production and better collaborations. No Eminem verse and no Timberland. I give the album a XL but Banks could have come stronger. For real tho fam….I am slightly disappointed with Rotten Apple. Mainly because the production is not that strong. That’s not to say that it don’t sound good, but Bank$ knew alot of cats was gonna be looking at how he did this time out. He didn’t deliver the way he should have. The Hunger For More is by far the better album. I supported the album because he is still offering better music than alot of what’s in the industry right now. I think the album was purposely left kinda dry to position 50′s album with fire and strong sales. Every body knows that Bank$ is a beast lyrically so more attention should have gone into this release. Maybe it’s just me but 50′s vers on the track Rotten Apple was hot ” I hold it down with pound/300 and 57 ways/ Hollow tip graze’ll put a part through your waves/ Half christian/ Half Killa/ Half man/ Half guerrila/ I’ll pop something/ do a nigga dirty for that scrilla
That whole verse was ill. Check out he moving lyrically on the chorus and verse. I’m telling ya’ll he gonna try to kill it when he releases his next joint. Bank$ is loyal. He knows he could’ve murdered it this time out, but he is working for the whole of G Unit so they can stay paid and on top.

He stepped up the songwriting on this cd, only problem I had besides his voice was that it’s all the same material: Guns, sex, weed, and money. 50 took jay advice the wrong way, whenhe said you needed hit after hit, it doesn’t mean just club records. You on Aftermath the label that made Stan a hit record. You can afford to do something different. No wonder Em and 50 doing a single together, their labels are dying. Em basically ran out of stuff to talk about, but if 50 opens up and makes himself vunerable on this new album he’ll do big. The last three G-unit cds show two things, people son’t want to hear G-unit and that 50 is the only one who’s established, but he has to make a all around album not just typical G-unit cause we sick of it.

I would normally say who gives a shit how much u sell, the record should speak for itself…BUT since all G Unit ever puts itself up to is how much they are selling, this album has flopped. As stated before new york consists of over 20 million people and if your labeling yourself one of the best and most liked mcs in the city then you should sell more than 150,000 records in the first week. The Roots are triple platinum and they haven’t even released a song! But in all honesty the whole g unit sound has begun to fade away. Hunger for More and I guess The Documentary were the last good cds they have put out. I would stop promoting and tying to sell, and focus more on the actual music you are recording.

I have this cd and can tell u that its a complete dissapointment. I liked hunger for more, but I really wasn’t expecting much out of this album, considering g-units recent struggles. And I don’t understand why people hype this guy up so much, those that defend him claim he is one of the best “lyricist” or lable him the “punchline kid.” I have no idea how one can back this shit up. His flow is a disaster, his dilivery puts one to sleep, and his lyrics must have been written by a 10 year old. I didn’t hear one good line this whole fucking album. G Unit’s reliability on production is finally catching up with them, 50 is the only one in this camp that can write a fucking song.
