Snoop Dogg Set to Make Guest Appearance on Showtime’s Weeds

snoop.jpgSnoop Dogg has signed on to play himself in an upcoming episode of Showtime’s breakaway pot comedy/drama Weeds, according to the New York Daily News. The show, which revolves around a marijuana-selling housewife portrayed by Mary-Louise Parker, has been well received by viewers and critics for its unique take on the illicit activities of the otherwise normal residents of suburbia. In Snoop’s first appearance on the show, he is so impressed by a particularly potent strain of weed that he buys from Parker’s character Nancy that he composes a song touting its quality. The show’s second season kicked off on Monday (August 14).

    A perfect role for Snoop although i say he should have an original character for a recurring role. that wouldhave brought in major ratings. I might keep my showtime after my free 4 month trial. Brothers is a good show too.

    It was really pleasant to see Snoop on “MILF Money”, episode 02×08 of Weeds. I have always heard that he was a hard worker, none of the melodrama you get with superstars. His partial song MILF Weed was very humourous and fit the style of the show, given the primary character, a mid-thirties woman as hot a desirable. All in all, thanks Snoop for some excellent moments and keep up the good work, you are very charismatic and seemingly approachable. Good luck in all things that you do and thoes you touch upon.
