Mother of Radio Host Star Sues Hot 97

star1.jpgThe mother of ousted Power 105.1 DJ Star has filed an $11 million lawsuit against Emmis Radio, the corporate entity behind his former employer, Hot 97. The suit claims that the station defamed the shock jock’s mother, Hannah Hightower, a retired schoolteacher, by allowing rival morning show host Miss Jones to badmouth her on the air during the back and forth bickering match that proceeded the DJ Envy scandal. The suit, which was filed yesterday (August 2) in Manhattan federal court, quotes Miss Jones as saying, “Your white mom was nothing but a prostitute that your dad turned out,” and “got knocked up by the blackest, blackest, blackest n****r.”
