Fat Joe Signs with Virgin Records

fatjoe.jpgAfter recently leaving Atlantic Records and declaring that his next album would be released independently, Fat Joe has inked a deal with Virgin Records. According to Billboard, the Bronx-born Terror Squad front man will formally announce the deal at an MTV VMA after party hosted by Virgin on Thursday (August 31). While details surrounding the deal are not yet known, Joe is expected to release his completed seventh album, Me Myself & I, through his new label. The album was previously scheduled for an October 17 release, however, it is not clear whether that date will be affected by this new development. Me, Myself & I includes production from The Runners and Scott Storch and guest appearances from Lil’ Wayne and The Game.
