UPDATE: Producer Dallas Austin Jailed in Middle East for Cocaine Possession

Producer Dallas Austin is currently sitting in a Dubai prison for possessing just over a gram of cocaine and five tablets containing a mixture of MDM and cocaine, according to a report from area paper The Gulf News. As reported earlier, the Grammy Award–winning producer was detained upon his arrival in the Middle Eastern Nation on May 19, and has been incarcerated since. He has officially been charged with possessing and bringing illegal substances into the country for personal use. According to the attorneys representing him, he is currently being questioned by the Dubai Court of First Instance and a trial is expected to commence on an undisclosed date next month.
