The Game’s Manager, Jimmy Rosemond, Sentenced to Probation

jimmyhenchman.jpgJimmy Rosemond (formally known as Jimmy “Henchmen”), CEO of CZAR Entertainment and manager of Compton rapper The Game, was sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation this morning in a Maryland courtroom. The sentence, which also included a $2,500 fine, stems from his alleged involvement in the assault of DC-area radio personality Xzulu “The Big Lipped Bandit” back in January of 2005. The DJ claimed he was assaulted by Rosemond, Game, and several other members of their entourage after he made an insulting remark about Rosemond’s cell phone earpiece. Xzulu was hospitalized after the incident and arrest warrants for Rosemond and Game were issued by local police. Although the charges against Game were eventually dropped, Rosemond was found guilty of assault and faced a sentence of as much as 10 years behind bars due to his prior criminal record. Rosemond, who also manages Trillville, Shyne and Rick Ross, recently traveled to his native Haiti with Wyclef Jean to help underprivileged children and meet with government officials about improving conditions in the impoverished country. According to his attorney, his light sentence was likely in recognition of his charity work and his commitment to providing a positive influence to his community.

    Henchman got off easy. Xzulu was a cool radio host even though his freestyle was wack his silly antics made me laugh. Henchman is about 4’5 tall and had other nigs jump Xzulu.
