A spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to XXLMAG.COM that Maurice “Parlae” Gleaton, the 23-year-old a member of Atlanta group Dem Franchize Boyz, was among several artists snagged when police swept into a recording studio last night. Working on a tip, officers raided the location at 982 Memorial Drive, and confiscated 11 pounds of marijuana, $150,000 in cash, two firearms, and pornography. According to Atlanta’s WSB-TV Channel 2, officers revealed that the suspects spotted the police on surveillance cameras and were attempting to flush the drugs down the toilet when they entered the building. Gleason is still in police custody and is being charged with trafficking and marijuana possession.
