eminem.jpgRapper/actor Eminem has reportedly signed on to star in a remake of the 1950s TV show Have Gun Will Travel. The series, which starred Richard Boone as a gunslinger for hire, ran from 1957 to 1963 and was one of television's most popular Western-themed shows. The updated film adaptation will feature Em as a bounty hunter, and may be set in his real-life hometown of Detroit. According to Variety, the film will probably include some musical component, such as a soundtrack or score, that the multiplatinum rapper is expected to contribute to. The film will be produced by the Interscope/Shady/Aftermath Films production company in conjunction with Paramount Pictures. Eminem's longtime manager Paul Rosenberg and Interscope head Jimmy Iovine will also share production credits.
