Arrest Warrant Issued for DMX

dmx3.jpgA White Plains judge issued a warrant for DMX’s arrest today after previously granting the Yonkers rapper two postponements. “We have granted [DMX] a number of courtesies,” said Judge Barbara Leak, according to the Associated Press. “It ends now.” DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was scheduled to appear before Leak to answer to a number of traffic violations he picked up on June 2nd for speeding and making unsafe lane changes. His lawyer explained that the rapper had flown from Arizona, where he owns a home, to New York but became suddenly ill and could not make his court date.

    When X went down to Arizona he a ticket for an unregistered handgun when an officer noticed it on the front seat of his car. X was in traffic outside of a nightclub when the incident occured. I’m not one to talk about some rapper that I do not know but GODDAMN! That man needs to stick to making his music and movies. He has access to millions of dollars yet he still faces jail time at least twice a year — Chill out X. Stop snorting coke, stop rolling with unregistered guns, and stop speeding — make money make money
