VH1 recently announced that it is planning reality shows with Houston rapper Paul Wall and veteran MC/actor Ice-T. In Ice-T’s Rap School, set to premiere in September, Ice will teach a group of seventh and eighth graders at New York City’s York Prep school the ins and outs of hip-hop. The course will include lessons in rhyming, scratching and break dancing. After going through a series of auditions and recording sessions, students will face their final exam: performing as the opening act for Public Enemy at B.B. King’s Nightclub in New York.
While details about Paul Wall’s reality show are still unclear, VH1 announced it was ordering a pilot about the rapper, to be produced by the company behind Hulk Hogan’s reality show Hogan Knows Best.
