Producer Scott Storch Launches New Label

scottstorch.jpgGrammy-nominated producer/songwriter Scott Storch has confirmed that he is launching a new label called Storchaveli. While Storch is still in talks with several companies to distribute the label, he recently told Billboard that the label will be a “real record label that’s fully staffed and housing all different styles of music: R&B, hip-hop, Latin hip-hop, pop, rock-n-roll, everything.” The first artist on Storchaveli will be Brooke Hogan, the daughter of wrestler Hulk Hogan, who was seen on the VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best.

    I have to give him props, Scott is doing his thing. At first when I heard about Brook being his first artist I was a little iffy about it bc I was like she’s really dance / pop and his Hip Hop. But I have to be honest the two of them together just works, he geared her in a complete different directions of what was expected of her which was bubble gum pop and now hearing her song “About Us” with Paul Wall is crazy.
