Former Cash Money artist B.G. officially inked a multi-album deal with Atlantic Records yesterday (April 4) to distribute his own Chopper City label. After years of Koch Records distributing Chopper City’s releases, the signing will end months of rumors about B.G. signing with various labels, including G-Unit. “I know nothing else but to keep it real. I’m just really excited,” B.G. told XXLMAG.COM. “I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time and I just feel confident that the Atlantic staff with the Chopper City staff will succeed together.” B.G. is busy in the studio preparing his Atlantic debut, which will be released in the fall and is being executive produced by T.I. and B.G.’s aunt (and Chopper City Co-CEO) Carol Dorsey, along with B.G. himself.
