2Pac’s Death to Be Remembered in Wax Exhibit Unveiling

pac.jpgTomorrow (April 5), Tupac Shakur’s untimely death will be remembered when Madame Tussards Las Vegas wax museum unveils its new “Tupac Eternal” exhibit. The wax sculpture, which depicts a shirtless ’Pac wearing a bandanna and proudly showing off his tattoos, was created from hundreds of photographs and dimensions provided by the late rapper’s mother, Afeni Shakur. The exhibit hopes to be a “full sensory experience,” with Shakur’s music playing a central role. A special opening ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the Venetian Hotel. After it is displayed in Vegas, the statue will be exhibited in galleries in New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and London before stopping at Atlanta’s Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts later this year. September will mark the ten year anniversary of 2Pac’s death.

    I don’t even know why people even compare the both as to who is the better rapper. 2Pac takes that title hands down! Pac not only rapped about violence, drugs,etc. but he had good songs like Brenda’s got a baby, keep your head up,dear mama,etc. Biggie didn’t have those type of songs. on the reals i couldnt tell the difference between a biggie,jay-z or a mase song because they’d talk about the same thing. 2pac was a special rapper & for sure the greatest EVER!     Tupac is a very important part of my family. He shows that anyone can overcome any obsticle and smile at the end. It was my father who first introduced Tupac to me and ever sense when ever I hear one of his songs I stop and think about him. I know almost all of his songs by heart. My favorite is Life Goes On, in fact, I’m listening to it right now. We’ve lived in many places, some bad while others were good. In the bad times I listened to that song to help me get to sleep at night, and in the good I listened to it when my father was in jail. But all in all, that song reminds me that I’ve gotten through all of the bad times. When my family had to share a small room in a two bedroom house with my grandfather, and when we all had our own rooms in a 7 bedroom house in Central Ohio. But the song meens more to me than any other song because it shows life and death, happy memories from sad ones, and it reminds me of all of the people I’ve lost, and all of the places I’ve lived. I remember when we were almost homeless, poor people. I listened to this song when I was out on the streets for a while. Now I live in a beautiful house with my two sisters, brother, mother and father. I thank Tupac for that!

    The truth being everyone should stop the bitching and pay respects to both Biggie and Tupac, this is not an anniversary it’s a time of remembrance for two people that changed allot of things.
    The East Coast West Coast shit got outta control and was just provoked by others, Biggie and Pac should have never been messed with and everyone should have let Pac and Biggie handle this, instead everyone kept what were good friends at one time apart so they could not patch shit up.
    This was a senseless and ignorant way to take out two of the best there was and ever will be.
    As for rappers now days none compare in any way shape or form to Biggie and Pac…..
    We’re all gonna die one day the question is will it be because it’s our time or because someone else makes it our time….
