Kanye West Tour Fills U2’s Shoes Down Under

kanye_press.jpgA spokesperson for Kanye West announced yesterday that the Chicago rapper/producer will continue his own tour through Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii, despite headliners U2 canceling their appearances due to illness. While Kanye has been supporting the Irish rockers throughout their Vertigo tour, his Touch The Sky tour will now be filling the remaining dates.

The following are the new Touch The Sky dates:

3/16    Auckland, New Zealand: St. James
3/20    Brisbane, Australia: Convention Center
3/23    Melbourne, Australia: Festival Hall
3/26    Sydney, Australia: Hordern Pavilion
3/29    Adelaide, Australia: Thebarton
4/2      Sydney, Australia: Opera House
4/5      Yokohama, Japan: Blitz
4/6      Tokyo, Japan: Studio Coast
4/9      Honolulu, HI: Blaisdell Arena
