Juvenile’s Reality Check Debuts at #1

juvenile1.jpgJuvenile’s Reality Check is the number one album in the country, after selling over 175,000 units in its first week, according to SoundScan. This is the New Orleans-bred rapper’s seventh solo disc, and the first under his new deal with Atlantic Records. It also marks the establishment of his new UTP imprint, following his second departure from Cash Money Records. Not only is this the first number one album for Juve, it is the first number one album ever for any member of the original Hot Boys.

I am happy for Juve and his #1 debut, but I do hope that 1 day he and the HotBoys can get together again, because from what I have heard from them–Baby is the problem, and they might need to just break away and do an album with just them on maybe Mannie’s label, and split the money equally because it will do about 3 1/2, or 4 easily.

  • LIL K

Juve has always been #1, the only thing going on now is that he is being recognized by the media.

  • Ivory

Juve’s new one is tight, but not #1 quality. Im feelin the tracks, but it aint on that level. I aint no hater, but what the fuck has the game come to when a hot single turns a whole album into #1 status?????

  • Yogi B ( No Baskets 4 Sale)

Mch props to Juve for ya #1 debut. Nuf’ said. U did it for ya peoples out there hurtin and being on that reason alone I aint got nuthin positive vibes for ya my niccca. As for IVORY, the name speaks for itsself

It would be a shame if juve went back and did an album with those fools cos-
1.he would be the reason that the album sells.
    2.they make him look bad
3.I want him to prove his own glory by doin it with the UTP.
