Judge Seizes Death Row and Suge Knight’s Assets
A Los Angeles judge said yesterday (March 23) that he will take control of Death Row Records and all of Suge Knights personal assets. The decision came after finding that Knight had neglected to pay a $107 million judgment from last March, which found that Lydia Harris was cheated out of her 50 percent stake in the label. If Knight cooperates and fully submits his assets to an exam by April 1, he can fend off Thursday’s ruling. Harris’s attorney has said that he does not expect Knight to cooperate.
