That was fast. A day after sharing a snippet of his new video for “Off Deez,” J.I.D officially released full-length visual today (Dec. 4).

The black-white clip features the Dreamville leader J. Cole and visual effects and direction from Cole Bennett. Both J.I.D and Cole spit a flurry of bars throughout the video (and it’s impressive!) but it’s the bizarre imagery of monsters that pop up from time to time that will catch your eyes.

Among some of the weird scenes in the vid include Cole sitting on top of a ladder while several gorgeous models are twerking beneath him. In another scene, J.I.D is rapping without any eyeballs. Yeah, it’s bizarre.

“Off Deez” is from J.I.D's DiCaprio 2 album, which is a follow-up to the East Atlanta rapper's 2015 mixtape DiCaprio and his 2017 effort, The Never Story. The new LP boasts guest appearances from A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$, Method Man, Ella Mai, BJ The Chicago Kid and more. On the production end, producers Wondagurl, Kenny Beats, Frankie P, Christo, ChaseTheMoney and others delivered dope beats for the talented wordsmith.

J.I.D is already garnering high praise for his lyricism and production values on the mixtape. Last month, the 2018 XXL Freshman shared a video of himself and Q-Tip grooving to the sounds from DiCaprio 2. Judging from the wide smile on Q-Tip's face, it appears that the veteran rapper has given it his seal of approval.

But back to J.I.D's video. It's weird, but in a good way. Check out the zany, Cole Bennett-directed visual below.
