There were a lot of dope visuals to drop throughout 2018. With newly released videos arriving this week from the likes of Swae Lee, Slim Jxmmi, Young Greatness, Blocboy JB, YBN Almighty Jay, Kodak Black and others, we may have to include additions to this year’s list of most memorable visuals.

Grand opening, grand closing. Blocboy JB, who jump-started his 2018 with the release of his triple-platinum “Look Alive,” concludes his breakout year by dropping a video for his track “Sticcs.” The Zach Hurth-directed video follows the “Rover 2.0” rapper and his weapon of choice for a night in trap. Appearing on the XXL Freshman’s 2017 mixtape, The Purple M&M, the track may be an oldie but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t still bang.

Swae Lee checks into the heartbreak hotel with his new single “Christmas at Swae’s.” Lost in love, the hip-hop crooner presents a not-so-jolly Christmas carol that finds him longing for a past love. For the holiday-themed song’s video, Swae, along with his unfulfilled wish list, faces the lonely truth behind a piano.

Although Young Greatness is gone, he isn’t forgotten. His music is a reminder of this. As new details emerge regarding his fatal shooting, the late rapper’s most recent visual for his Magnolia Chop-featured single “No Love” shows that there’s no love in the streets.
