It looks like Swizz Beatz has some fire coming our way. Earlier today (Sept. 13), the accomplished producer-rapper previewed his video for "Pistol on My Side ("P.O.M.S"), a new Lil Wayne-assisted track from his forthcoming Poison album. The newly minted 40-year-old also unveiled the cover for his new LP.

In the clip of the video, we can see Swizz and Weezy posted up in a hazy space as the presumably Swizz-produced cut begins playing. We don't really get to hear any extended rapping, but Swizz does serve up a dramatic statement: "Let's pray for the people that we just lost."

In an additional note, Swizzy, who has apparently been in the studio with Nas, has also supplied an explanation for his new album cover, which is black and red and features some interesting artwork.

"#POISON official album artwork done by @cleonpeterson its titled END OF EMPIRE .. End of empire is about upending the system, taking power back from the corrupt and fighting for justice. #POISON = POISE ON !! Let the Madness begin," he writes in the caption for his post featuring the artwork. Hopefully his new LP ends up being as dope as the cover for it.

"Pistol on My Side (P.O.M.S)" will be available for download at midnight tonight. The rest of Poison will be available for purchase and on DSPs on Nov. 2.

Peep a preview of Swizzy's new video below. Be on the lookout for Poison and Weezy's Tha Carter V album when you're done.
