Joey Bada$$ and Denzel Curry really enjoyed Powers Pleasant's DJ set on Saturday (Aug. 26) at the 2018 Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn. Joey's tour cinematographer Levi Turner captured the two rappers starting a raucous dance circle, verging on a mosh pit, during the Pro Era producer's performance.

In the clip, Bada$$ and Curry start bouncing in the crowd while Pleasant plays Ski Mask The Slump God's "Take A Step Back," eventually enlisting the fans around them to join the action. The pit never quite thrashes, but it looks like a hell of a time. Turner's video also shows the circle going hard to Trippie Redd's "Dark Knight Dummo" featuring Travis Scott.

Denzel also performed Saturday at the festival at Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park. He released his triple album Ta13oo in July. Joey, meanwhile, was in attendance as a fan. Erykah Badu, Pusha-T and Tyler, the Creator headlined the festival's stacked lineup.

Powers Pleasant dropped his debut single "Pull Up" featuring Bada$$ and A$AP Ferg in April. The producer has long laced his Pro Era crew members with beats, and he's currently prepping a solo EP behind the boards.

Joey released his last full-length All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ in April 2017. This year he has guested on Flatbush Zombies' Vacation In Hell (as did Curry) and Smoke Dza's Not For Sale, among other projects. He also maneuvered the legal minefield required to bring his breakout project 1999 to streaming services.
