G Herbo Drops Bars Over Kodak Black's "Skrilla" in New Freestyle

Ahead of the release of his Swervo project with Southside, G Herbo stopped by Hot 97 on Thursday (July 26) to spit a freestyle for Funkmaster Flex.

Herbo was first given Kodak Black's "Skrilla" to tackle and dropped a flurry of rapid-fire bars. "Spit real shit 'cause they feel me, aye/Big dog shit, can't little me/Since 15 niggas try and kill me," he rapped. "I got choppas and .50s in my couch... I see the police, I don't go that route/'Memba the police was chasin' me down."

The "Focused" rapper was also given a chance to freestyle over the classic Jadakiss track, "Still Feel Me" and did not disappoint. "I done been through so much shit that I barely get excited/Sugar coat my lifestyle 'cause I'm scared to get indicted/Roll a spliff, light it/Thinkin' 'bout my life and pray to God my son never gotta get as high as I did," Herbo spit.

On Friday (July 27), Herbo dropped his long-awaited Swervo project. Featuring production from Southside, the 14-track record includes guest appearances from 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Young Thug and Juice Wrld.

"It's going to give me an entire different fan base. I feel like I'll be capturing the entire South with that project," Herbo explained to XXL last summer. "It's all about timing and just strategizing, making sure we're hitting A, B, C and all the way on to Z. I don't want to skip no steps or force nothing. Everything got to be natural and organic."
