Mozzy delivers the second visual from his latest EP, Spiritual Conversations, upping the video for "In My Prayers," on Friday (May 25).

The track shows a bit of a softer side of the hard-body Sacramento, Calif. rapper, as he touches on his spiritual thoughts mingled with stories of his gangland surroundings. "Damn fourth I just hate it was you/We from a place they don't play by the rules, you gotta stay by a tool," he raps. "Much rather spend my day in the shoe/Versus the whole gangland and in a suit, we missin' you fool."

In the video, Mozzy raps solo in some desolate warehouse locations. Without a chorus, he continues on with a barrage of real-life bars. "Holla'd at God, but niggas ain't gettin' through/I ain't answering neither, ya nigga ain't in the mood/Wishin' I finish school, future probably be brighter/Mama probably be proud, this rappin' shit don't excite her."

The song serves as the intro track to Spiritual Conversations, which is the prelude to his forthcoming album, Gangland Landlord. Both projects come via a newly-formed partnership with Empire, who are happy to have the bubbling artist on the team. "It's truly exciting to work with and artist whose music resonates with me both professionally and personally," said Empire label founder and CEO Ghazi Shami. "When I hear a Mozzy record, it reminds me why I fell in love with rap music."
