Listen to Lil Peep’s Posthumous Collaboration With Clams Casino “4 Gold Chains”
Lil Peep's memory and legacy continues to carry on through his music, and fans received another posthumous gift over the weekend. Yesterday (May 13), the late rapper's visuals for his new song "4 Gold Chains" featuring Clams Casino was uploaded to his Youtube page.
There's no word on when the Casino-produced song was originally recorded, but many fans recognize the track from when it was teased by Peep just a month before his passing in November 2017. The video appears to have been recorded around the same time based on Peep's shorter hairstyle.
The visuals feature the "Save That Shit" entertainer sitting on a stoop in an unknown location, where he consumes a pill before smoking a blunt and walking off on the sidewalk. Throughout the record, Peep sings about his conflicting thoughts about reaching fame and how it can positively and negatively impact his lifestyle in different ways.
“Four gold chains/Gave two to my brothers," he serenades. "Fame bring pain/But the pain make money.”
The late rising star tragically passed away on Nov. 15 of last year at the age of 21 years old. It was later reported that he died due to an accidental drug overdose before his concert in Tucson, Ariz.
