Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Phresher has a distinctive, gruff voice and high-energy style that sounds nothing like the music emerging from his Brooklyn blocks. He first made shockwaves with the 2016 single "Wait a Minute," which was a bubbling street hit even before 50 Cent and Remy Ma hopped on the remix. But his true throat-clearing introduction to the mainstream came in December via "Chloraseptic," a collaboration with Eminem that remains one of the brighter spots on the legend's Revival LP. Phresher is riding that momentum into 2018, as he's slated to hit the tour circuit hard after showing off his versatility via his upcoming PH mixtape.

Now that you've watched his pitch below, it's time to vote. The 2018 XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
