Jean Grae and Quelle Chris Get Animated in “Zero” Video

Jean Grae and Quelle Chris are gearing up for the release of their joint album, Everything's Fine. The hip-hop couple blessed fans with the vintage visual for "Zero" earlier this month (March 16).

The pair transform into old school arcade game characters in the new clip. Quelle Chris actually crafted the video game in the comfort of his home after teaching himself how to design and program 32-bit visuals. The 1990s-style arcade game features Jean fighting as a character under the name of Zero, maneuvering her way through a plethora of opponents before knocking off the final boss, known as Mad Red. She fights off her opponents for nearly seven minutes of destruction to achieve victory.

Quelle and Jean have teamed up to produce media from numerous different avenues including audio books, talk shows, visual projects and more. Chris got engaged to his longtime girlfriend during in 2017 after years of dating.

The duo's collaborative project, Everything's Fine, releases on March 30 and will feature assists from creatives such as comedian Hannibal Burress, Your Old Droog, Saturday Night Live star Michael Che and many more throughout the 15-track LP.
