After teaming up with Yo Gotti and YoungBoy Never Broke Again over the summer for "Straight Out the Dirt," E-40 is linking up with the rappers again, this time, for the song's music video.

Directed by Jae Synth, the video finds the rappers surrounded by mounds of dirt as they detail their rise to the top. "My granddaddy helped build the Carquinez Bridge/Gave my grandmama eleven kids/A gallon of milk and some eggs in the fridge/A pack of Top Ramen some bread and some grits/I got it straight out the dirt (the dust)," 40 spits in the video.

While E-40 doesn't have an album in the works, the Bay Area legend has been keeping busy lately, collaborating with rappers such as Keak Da Sneak, Payroll Giovanni, G-Eazy, TeeCee4800 and more.

In a interview with XXL, E-40 discussed his longevity in hip-hop and what has kept him around for so long. "To make a long story short and a short story long, what I did different was I came in the game with an unorthodox rap style," said 40.

"I talked about subject matters that everyone wasn’t talking about," he continued. "I came with a bunch of slang, I spit real shit that real muthafuckas can feel, you know what I mean? I was the first one talkin’ about triple beam scales and drought season and choppas and AR-15s and all that good shit, I could go on and on forever."
