It looks like a Trippie Redd and Lil Wayne collab could be incoming. Recently, the Ohio-bred rapper jumped onto social media to play a snippet of a new track with the Young Money head honcho, and it sounded pretty dope.

In the clip, we can see Trippie belting out the lyrics to the unnamed track, which features a darker, mid-tempo instrumental and a verse from Weezy. Afer Trippie's part of the clip ends, Weezy's pops up.

It's hard to make out too much of what either rapper is saying on the track, but it sounds like both of Trippie and Weezy use a healthy dose of Auto-Tune. Should be pretty fire.

Speaking with XXL last fall, Trippie hinted at his Weezy collaboration, revealing that they'd actually made two tracks together.

"I met [Lil Wayne], and yeah, we did some—he hopped on two songs, know what I'm saying. You'll see them later on. I don't know when exactly I'm gon' drop them, but I'ma do it," Trippie said at the time.

There's still zero word on when we can expect both of Trippie's Weezy collabs, but we can only hop they surface soon. We'll just have to wait.

In the meantime, listen to a snippet of Trippie's new track with Weezy just below. Check out Trippie and Swae Lee's "TR666" when you're done with that.
