Hours after winning Best Rap Song and Best Music video for "Humble," Kendrick Lamar secures the 2018 Grammy Awards' first televised award. At the star-studded show, which is taking place in New York City's famed Madison Square Garden, K. Dot's Rihanna-assisted DAMN. track, "Loyalty," earned the Top Dawg Entertainment award for Best Rap/Sung Performance.

Also nominated for the trophy were 6LACK ("PRBLMS"), Goldlink ("Crew" featuring Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy), JAY-Z ("Family Feud" featuring Beyoncé) and Kung Fu Kenny's own Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate, SZA ("Love Galore" featuring Travis Scott). All were worthy of the award, but as he so often does, K. Dot ultimately prevailed.

Taking the stage with RiRi by his side, Kendrick gave thanks for her support, while also letting the world know she more than handled her business on the track.

"Ayy man, this is love, I appreciate every single last one of y'all. My fans out there, TDE, Interscope staff, Aftermath...Ayy Rihanna what's up man. She came through and gassed me on my that record—gassed me up on my own song and whatnot, man, so this really belongs to her, real talk."
