Chicago's famed Savemoney collective reunites in Kami's lo-fi new video for "Payload," which feels a lot like the clique's victory lap following a very successful 2017. Among the folks making appearances in the vid are Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa and Joey Purp.

The visual begins with footage of Kami performing "Payload" onstage outside as a sizable crowd looks on. Within seconds, though, it transitions to the video itself, which finds Kami, Chano, Vic and the gang bouncing around to the rhythm of the track at what feels like a block party.

As we said before, the video is pretty low in quality, but that's definitely the point; the camera lens switches between focusing on members rapidly, bouncing up and down and across in a way that captures the hyperactivity of the function's electric atmosphere.

As we've said before, 2017 was a big year for Savemoney. Vic Mensa dropped his long-awaited debut album, The Autobiography. Meanwhile, Chano solidified his status as a ubiquitous pop culture force through a series of performances and his continued willingness to help out wherever needed. Kami dropped his epic, New Wave-inspired, Just Like the Movies album. Clearly, the clique is winning.
