PnB Rock Cruises in a “Coupe” in Colorful New Video

PnB Rock's debut album is called Catch These Vibes, and it doesn't take more than a few minutes of listening to the project to see why. He serves up more new vibes in his colorful new video for "Coupe," a standout cut from the project.

In the video, directed by LouieKnows, the 2017 XXL Freshman cruises in a coupe with two beautiful ladies at his side. Shades of neon green, blue and red envelop PnB and his women at different points of the video, synching up with the song's playful melody that sounds like shades of bright primary colors.

PnB Rock's made a big name for himself by infusing his music with plenty of melody. That's something he says Drake has been a large part of. In a recent interview, PnB called the Toronto rapper a major influence.

"I can't say he started it, but in my era in time, he started it...he made it to where you can rap and sing on some real shit at the same damn time type shit," PnB said of the 6 God's impact on hip-hop.

He remembers the very first time he listened to Drizzy's breakout single.

"I remember when I first heard it, it was like 2008," he continues. "I was locked up, too—I was in placement [at] Vision Quest. 'Best I Ever Had' came on the radio and I was like, 'Bruh, who the fuck is this nigga, bruh?' I'm like, this nigga is the most fire shit I ever heard. 'What the fuck is this?' I used to be really waitin' for the song to come back on the radio on some fiend shit. I ain't never been like that over nothing in my entire life."
