While there isn't really an official designation for this sort of thing, it isn't a stretch to say 2017's been the year of standout Offset verses. Based on a recent social media post, it looks like the Migos member is looking to carry that momentum into the new year.

In a new video's he's uploaded to his Instagram story, Offset can be seen vibing out to a quick and steady track featuring his own vocals. "Glass on my knuckles super cold," he spits on the icy instrumental. It's unclear whether or not this track is a solo Offset effort or a cut from Culture 2. Either way, it sounds dope.

This year has featured numerous fire guest verses from Offset. With his rapid-fire, staccato flow and ad-libs, this track sounds just like the sorts we've heard from Cardi B's fiancé all year long. We can't wait to hear the whole thing.

While Offset's guest verses have no doubt been highlights, the rapper's success as a part of Migos is really the headline for a huge 2017. Just the other day, the Georgia-based rap trio were among the nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards. The group's platinum-selling Culture album will be up for Best Rap Album and "Bad and Boujee" will compete for Best Rap Performance when the awards show is broadcast in January of next year.
