Don Q and Chimbala Take Shots at Their Enemies in “Matalo” Video
Don Q has done a slew of material with artists over the course of his success in the music game, and he's not shy about venturing into other genres for collaborations. The Highbridge artist teams up with Dominican rapper Chimbala for their new bilingual record "Matalo," and they're releasing the official music video.
The new set of visuals takes place in a local neighborhood, where the two stand on the steps outside of a venue with tons of members of their entourages. While Don spits some of his signature heavy bars over the hardcore instrumental, Chimbala eventually comes in to deliver some rhymes of his own in Spanish, taking shots at their enemies.
It's been a major year for the Bronx rapper, who released two installments of his Corner Stories mixtape, which received critical acclaim from the hip-hop community. Not only has he been earning the spotlight alongside his Highbridge label mate, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, but he's become a prominent lyricist on the rise that rap fans are hoping to hear more from in the future.
