After being shot in Los Angeles last month, Young Dolph is recovering and finding a new appreciation for life. The Memphis rapper releases the official music video for his "While U Here" record off of his newly released album, Thinking Out Loud, which sees him counting his blessings.

Starting off at one of the homes in his local neighborhood, Dolph spits his rhymes on the porch, getting emotional as he pleads to listeners to appreciate the simple things in life. The "100 Shots" MC later moves on to a graveyard, where he sends up some prayers, showing his graciousness for getting another chance at life.

Dolph is currently recovering from his injuries from the shooting, which originally took place outside of a Hollywood hotel in broad daylight back in September. He captured some of his recovery in the recent music video for his "Point Across" video that dropped this week, but he's not letting any of it impact his music releases.

If you recall, a man named Corey McClendon has been arrested in connection to the shooting on suspicion of attempted murder. He was arrested shortly after the time of Dolph's shooting in Hollywood.
