Two months after signing to Future's Freebandz label, Tru Life pulls up in a music video with Future himself. This one's for a track called, "Last Night," and it's a pretty promising collab from the two artists.

In the new BP Filmz-directed visual, Tru Life and Hendrix roam the streets with a large group of their peoples. Of course, there are plenty of baddies nearby as well. The track itself is a hard-hitting one that finds Future delivering one of his typically anthemic hooks. Tru Life, who served several years in prison for gang assault and was released in the spring of 2016, comes with some ruthless bars.

"Tru, tru, in a blue coupe, run a choo-choo on your new-new/Dog her out like Blues Clues, doggystyle like woof, woof/Rozay in my Fruit Loops, hard time I done did that/Came home, niggas still pussy, came to take my shit back," Tru spits on the track. "If you a real hustler I'll recruit, but if Future don't trust you I'ma shoot you," he raps at another point..

If we'd told you back in 2011 that Tru Life would get out of prison and sign with Future, you might have been pretty surprised. The thing is, the two rappers have known one another for a long while.

"I go back with him from Meathead," Tru Life said in a 2016 interview, referring to Future's old Dungeon Family rap name. "I don't even know Future... We grew up together, man, in the Dungeon [Family]. Me and his cousin, Rico Wade, was real tight."
