Lil Durk Takes It to the Streets for New “Make It Out” Video

After teaming up with Ralo for the "Chiraqistan" video, Lil Durk returns with a video of his own. On Tuesday (Oct. 17), the Chicago rapper dropped off the visuals for his song "Make It Out."

Directed by Jerry Production, the "Make It Out" video finds Durk surrounded by his crew as he reflects on his life. "Extort your big homie, like we from LAX/I was so high, I wish I replied to LA text/But we had jumped into them streets and made a mess/I was dressing my homies up for they funerals/Holding on they OGs tight, they did the most," he raps on the song.

Speaking with XXL about the track, Durk said, "I just wanted to speak to the streets and give them motivation on making it out. Whatever situation they're in, know that they can make do and have a better life."

He added, "This is just a loose song, I wanna keep giving my fans material while I'm gearing up for something big."

After dropping the collaborative EP Super Vultures with Lil Reese, it was revealed that Lil Durk would be teaming up with Tee Grizzley for a new project. On Oct. 12, Tee tweeted, "Y'all gone love when me and @lildurk drop our project." The rapper also shouted Durk out on Instagram, writing, "Bro show me love like we grew up together. I appreciate you rns."

To celebrate his birthday on Oct. 19, Durk will also release his Signed to the Streets 2.5 mixtape. You can peep the cover art below as well.
