Covers of songs are usually reserved for singers but during a recent stop at BBC Radio 1's Piano Sessions, Joey Bada$$ performed his own rendition of JAY-Z's classic, "Dead Presidents."

Performing with U.K. artist Dave, Joey rapped the "Dead President's" hook over a stripped-down, piano-driven version of the song. After rapping the chorus, the rapper segued into his "Amerikkkan Idol" verse as Dave continued playing the Hov track in the background.

The Brooklyn rapper also performed an acoustic version of his track "Babylon" from his 2017 album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$Performing in a nearly pitch black room, Joey's lines about racial injustice hit harder as the beat took a backseat to him spitting.

Last month, Joey teamed up with Swizz Beatz and a number of hip-hop stars for a video for the producer's Bally collaboration campaign. Featuring a men's and women's collection, the collaboration features varsity jackets, printed windbreakers, crew neck sweaters, wallets, phone cases, clutch bags, sandals, slip shoes and more.

During the video, Joey can be seen modeling the variety jacket as he poses for the camera. The video also features French Montana, Diddy and Alicia Keys.
