Fresh off of signing with Shady Records, California's Boogie stopped by Power 106 and showed why Eminem signed him. Rapping over Lil Pump's "Gucci Gang" beat, Boogie killed his freestyle, spitting bar after bar.

"I'm never home, but I never left/They full court but they never press/I'm the one to give the ref a tech/I really Jordan up in retrospect/I need that Nike check, I need a thotty next/I need to sell these diamonds from this pressure I'm applying," he raps.

In another part of his freestyle, Boogie spits, "My weed man still got nicks though/He forever saying how his phone tapped/Since pro clubs, been tryna go pro/I'm in another league, call it pro-black."

Boogie was recently featured in the Shady Records cypher at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, where he also stole the show. "I slap a nigga, bag a bitch and show you that I'm braggin'/These rappers finna drown and get they stream on/We use your physical copy to roll our weed on," he rapped during the cypher.

The Thirst 48 rapper's deal with the label was announced shortly after the cypher aired on TV. "We are proud to announce the newest member of the Shady family – Compton’s own Boogie," read a post on the Shady Records' website.
