A couple months back, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz confirmed plans to engage one another in a beat battle. While the contest has yet to take place, Timbo finds himself revved up and in competition mode, as was evidenced when he recently teased a new collab between himself, JAY-Z and Meek Mill just a bit less than a week after Swizzy previewed a new collab with Lil Wayne.

In a Twitter video he uploaded just yesterday (Sept. 5), Timbo sits at his audio workstation as he plays a snippet of his Meek Milly collaboration. His attached tweet includes a call to action for the Dreamchasers boss. Looks like the track isn't done.

"@THEREALSWIZZZ So we're working on an album now, right?? What do you think, fans? I'm still working on my craft. @MeekMill let's finish up," Timbo's tweet reads. The instrumental sounds like typical Timbaland, and from the bit we hear, Hov's doing some serious flexing in one of the verses. It appears Hov and Timbo are both handling the hook for the track.

“My chain heavy and my Rollie don’t tick,” both chant on the hook for the song. Moments later, Meek begins his verse. “Cuban links and kilos,” spits the Philadelphia rapper. “We might get the RICO/Pull up on a sucker, take his bitch like I was Debo.”

This is just the latest bit of studio work Timbo's put in lately. A few weeks back, he popped up in the studio with emerging Atlanta star 6LACK. It feels like Timbaland's got something epic headed our way, and we can't wait.
