On Thursday night (Sept. 14), Kendrick Lamar took the stage to perform more than a few of his hit singles at Rihanna's 2017 Diamond Ball, and it was every bit as dope as you might expect.

For the event, which was hosted by Dave Chappelle, K. Dot electrified the crowd with performances of tracks like "LOYALTY." and "HUMBLE." From the looks of things it, it's safe to say they were definitely into it.

This year's Diamond Ball marked the third iteration of the event, which was founded by Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation. CLF is a charitable organization Rihanna founded and named after her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite—Clara passed in 2012. The goal of the Diamond Ball is to help fund “innovative education projects, scholarships, healthcare programs, and local micro grants."

“‎I’m thrilled that the incomparable Dave Chappelle will kick things off as the official host of this year’s Diamond Ball and Kendrick Lamar will take the stage for an unforgettable performance,” Rihanna said in a statement released around the time K. Dot and Chappelle were announced as being a part of her Diamond Ball. “I’m proud of the Clara Lionel Foundation’s significant impact in the world over the years and deeply grateful for the continued support and commitment to advancing our mission.”
