Dave East has already received co-signs from Nas and Pusha T and now it appears the 2016 XXL Freshman has received another one from Drake.

When XXL sat down with the Harlem MC recently, he revealed he has new music with Drizzy dropping soon. While detailing his relationship with Drake, the New York rapper said the two recently tried to link up, but their schedules wouldn't allow it. Don't fret, though—East confirmed the two have something up their sleeves, saying, "We definitely got some music on the way."

East, who just dropped a new record "Bipolar" the other day, also praised Drake, saying he has showed him "nothing but love" and calling him "down to earth." East added, "Me being in my lane, and what I've been doing, that's a win. It's just dope that he respects what I'm doing. I respect what he's doing."

In August, Dave East dropped his first project for Def Jam, the Paranoia: A True Story EP. Ahead of the project's release, East spoke with XXL about the meaning of the EP, revealing the record is about his fear of what's to come.

"Now that I’ve gotten to a point where I’m out the hood, I’m not broke every day," he said, "I can pick what I want to eat, you know what I’m saying? I’m living how I dreamed of living now, so now it’s like the fear of the unknown. I don’t know what’s going to come with this now, you get what I’m saying?”
