Stormzy turns in an extra-cinematic new visual for "Cigarettes and Cush," a cut from his critically acclaimed Gang Signs & Prayers album.

Like the song, the visual is smooth and romantic. In the video, which is more like a mini-movie, Stormzy is a marijuana dealer who crosses paths with a beautiful young woman. Over time, they become a couple, enjoying their down time by smoking "Cigarettes and Cush."

Throughout the Daps-directed vid, which lasts about six minutes, we see Stormzy posted up either in his marijuana greenhouse, in the club with his lovely love interest (Andrea Ali) and back at his place with the aforementioned love interest.

The problem is, weed is still very illegal in England, and it turns out, Stormzy is the drug dealer the woman, who is revealed to be a member of the police force, has been searching for. When she realizes this, she's got a decision to make. We'll let you find out what that decision is for yourself.

Stormzy is right in the middle of an exceedingly successful 2017 run. Recently, the rapper's album Gang Signs & Prayer was named as one of the nominees for the 2017 Mercury Prize. Other nominees include projects from the likes of J Hus, Ed Sheeran, Sampha, Glass Animals, The Big Moon, Blossoms, Dinosaur, Alt-j, Loyle Carner and The xx. Pretty good company.
