Don't look now, but a Smokepurpp and Travis Scott collab could be forthcoming. On Wednesday night (Aug. 30), the two rappers hit the studio together in Los Angeles, and Purpp live-streamed some of their time in the lab.

In the clip, Purpp briefly aims his camera lens at Scott, who's posted up in the corner of the dark room as a hard instrumental plays in the background. From there, we see shots of the young Florida rapper vibing out to the beat as he stares into the lens and begins forming what could be a hook for a song. Though we don't get any confirmation on who, exactly, produced the instrumental, Purpp mentions that it could be Ronny J production.

This studio session marks the second time Purpp and Scott have been in the lab together. They've yet to release any collaborations, but maybe that will change in the very near future. We can only hope.

Smokepurpp has been one of the faster-rising names in the South Florida rap scene over the last several months, and his most recent studio session with Scott is further proof of that. Back in March, Purpp signed to Todd Moscowitz’s Alamo Records, and a couple months later, he killed a set during the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival.

Scott, meanwhile, has been keeping fans on their toes by intermittently teasing his Astroworld album and a joint project with Quavo. No one but he knows when either project is set to drop. Same goes for Purpp's DEADSTAR project, which his fans have been craving for a while now.
