Five down and eight more to go. JAY-Z continues to drop weekly visuals off his new album, 4:44. Now, we get the video for one of the LP's bonus cuts, "Adnis."

We were originally introduced to the track via an ad that ran during the NBA Finals back in June. This was just days after physical ads for some sort of JAY-Z release started popping up all over NYC. The commercial initially threw people off, as many thought it meant 4:44 was some sort of short film instead of a new Hov album as most suspected from the initial signs. It turns out everyone was right in the end.

The dark visual stars Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover who are in boxing mode. Ali works the punching bag in a dimly-lit gym while Danny Glover appears as his trainer in some scenes. There is definitely some symbolism here.

On the track, Hov spills his pen about the distant relationship he had with his late father. "Uh, letter to my dad that I never wrote/Speeches I prepared that I never spoke/Words on a paper that I never read/Proses never penned, they stayed in my head/Jotted on dotted lines, I'mma fight you, nigga/From stories that I heard, I'm just like you, nigga/Must've been some pain in your past, too/Must've been a karma that was past due/Must it be the energy that passed through/Many I've been a pastor, many snafus," Jigga raps.

Hov has dropped a video every week since his album came out last month, including previously released visuals for "The Story of O.J.," "4:44," "Bam" featuring Damian Marley and "Kill Jay Z."
