AD Takes Inspiration From Suga Free for New Freestyle

AD is working non-stop in 2017 to prove that he deserves to be at the top of any rising talent lists, and now he's giving a new freestyle to ponder over for the week. The Compton, Calif. rapper releases footage of himself spitting the freestyle for fans, which he says was inspired by legendary West Coast icon Suga Free.

The "40's" entertainer can be seen sitting at a table in an unknown location, where he films himself using a pen and his hands to create an original beat while he spits some mean bars for viewers. Rhyming with a fast-paced flow, AD not only talks about his life while he was growing up and how he was able to find success, but he also name-drops female rapper Cardi B as a woman he has his eye on.

"I'm makin' money, it ain't hard to see/I'm hard to reach, them new girls don't excite me, but I'll fuck a Cardi B," AD raps on the self-produced freestyle.

In a tweet to promote the clip, AD includes a shout-out to California rap veteran Suga Free for inspiration, and even tagged both XXL, as well as BET.

"Real Bars s/0 to Suga Free for the inspiration ..tell @BET & @XXL what I do," AD wrote in the tweet for the video's caption.

Recently, AD teamed up with Sorry Jaynari for their joint album, Last of the 80's, which they dropped back in April.
