Juice has become a cult classic to hip-hop movie fans over the years, and with its 25th anniversary being this year, the producers are revealing some details about the 1992 film. On top of celebrating the film's anniversary, fans are able to see an alternate ending that was made for the movie, which involves the death of Tupac Shakur's character.

If you recall, the late rap icon made his acting debut in the movie and received a ton of praise for his portrayal of a Harlem teenager named Bishop. In the original movie, Shakur's character dies following a scuffle with his longtime friend, Q, played by Omar Epps, after Q loses his grip of Bishop's hand while he is hanging over the side of a building ledge.

In the alternate ending, we see the same scenario take place, but this time Bishop purposely lets go his grip of Q's hand to fall to his death after hearing police sirens in the background. We hear `Pac's character tell Q "I ain’t going to jail, man" as he decides to choose death rather than be saved by his friend.

"C'mon man, don't punk out on me now," Epps' character tells Bishop in the ending.

The 25th anniversary of Juice was released this week (June 6), which contains commentary from co-writer and director Ernest R. Dickerson, as well as interviews from producer David Heyman, and actors Omar Epps, Khalil Kain and Jermaine Hopkins.

There's still no word on if the Juice remake is going to ever happen, but for now, we can enjoy the nostalgia of the original.
