Playboi Carti is seriously having a moment. A lot of that love has come from his song "Magnolia" off his last, self-titled project. The track's life just got an official, corporate extension with its inclusion in a Sprint commercial.

The new commercial is clearly aimed at the youth of the country since it's a montage of clips featuring artists like Nick Jonas, Post Malone, Vic Mensa and Jaden Smith. And the whole thing is soundtracked by "Magnolia." Its main purpose is to advertise the deal of receiving six months of a free Tidal subscription by switching to Sprint. This announcement falls in line with the news that Sprint bought a 33% stake in Tidal earlier this year.

Honestly, the commercial would have been just as affective if it was simply a clip of Tyler, The Creator or the Cavaliers dancing to the song. Regardless, it might be part of a plan by Tidal to battle any losses they might be suffering from, including their third CEO leaving.

"Magnolia" also inspired K Camp as well as Tory Lanez to spit their own verses over the beat. Unfortunately for the latter, producer Pierre Bourne never gave his blessings for the freestyle. The original song was included on our readers' list of songs that will rule this summer. The hype for the song's video continues to grow with the new Sprint commercial, as Carti and Rocky were caught shooting the flick in NYC the other day.
