Phora is starting off the summer season by getting his fans in the mood to seek out some romance, which is an opposite theme of some of his previous releases. The California rapper releases his new set of visuals for his "To the Moon" record, which sees him living out a love fantasy with his leading lady as he prepares fans for his upcoming Yours Truly Forever album.

The new video sees the Warner Bros. signee out on a beach, where he is surrounded by mountains with his newfound love. The couple get cozy on the island setting, where they embrace each other with some serious intimacy as the love song provides the perfect soundtrack for their romance.

The "Rider" MC spoke with XXL about the new record, and what inspired the new set of visuals.

"'To the Moon' is about love, getting away, escaping from everything. It's about two people getting to know each, but in depth, and away from the world, to a beautiful place where no one else is—hence the title 'To the Moon.' I think we all dream of getting away, and I have a fascination with the moon and the stars, it's just so interesting to me. I'm very disciplined and strategic when it comes to releases, records, promotion etc. and the reaction I got from this - I knew I had to do something special. I showed over 100 people this song from record execs, to friends and family. Their response was the same exact thing every single time—'This is my favorite song from you. This is a hit. You need to get it on the radio,'" Phora tells XXL.

The rapper also recently announced his upcoming album, which is slated to drop on August 19. It's already available for preorder, which fans can find on iTunes here, receiving four tracks ff the project with the immediate purchase.
